Person Centered Care
Our Mission
McElvain Homes has a passionate love for developmentally disabled adults and, as such, strives to provide stimulating and loving family homes. The agency is committed to not only providing mandated services but unparalleled personalized care and recreational opportunities to meet the specific needs of each of our residents.
Recreation
At McElvain Homes we have monthly dances, birthday parties, a swimming pool for resident use, and many additional opportunities. We are a company that is very person-centered and not profit-centered. Not only do we have our yearly planned vacation for our entire resident population, we also try to meet the individual travel wishes of each resident. We are currently planning to build a multi-purpose recreational building for our residents and the wider community.
Restoring Independence
We provide vehicles for each of our facilities to ensure all of our residents have their transportation needs met, not just those mandated.
